Mobile Personal Trainer in Austin: Training That Comes to You
A trainer comes to you
A mobile personal trainer meets you at your home or another agreed setting, so the session fits around the day you already have. Our Home Trainers matches Austin clients with a local trainer for one-on-one, 45-minute coaching. You avoid a gym commute and choose a familiar place to train. We serve North Austin, The Domain and nearby areas.
We're a small local team. Joey Saavedra, the owner, has 12+ years of personal training experience, and Zaira also trains clients with us. The focus is practical coaching: a plan built around you, a trainer who shows up and clear expectations about what the visit includes.
What a mobile personal trainer does
Mobile training means your trainer travels to the place you agree on, usually your home. Some people describe this as at-home training or a trainer who comes to your house. The key difference is that the coaching is one-on-one at your location, rather than a workout you travel to attend.
It isn't a video class, and it isn't a group session. Your trainer works only with you for the whole session, watches your form, adjusts the workout as you go and keeps track of how you're progressing from week to week.
How to arrange a mobile session
Training is offered as a month-to-month membership with no minimum commitment. We share membership details privately during the free consultation, because the right plan depends on how often you want to train and what you're working toward.
- Book a free consultation. Tell us your goals, your schedule, any injuries or limits, and what space you have at home. You can also call or text (512) 588-2166.
- We build your plan. Your trainer designs your first few weeks around your goals and what's realistic for your home.
- Sessions at your home. Training happens at the days and times you choose with your trainer. Each session lasts 45 minutes.
- Adjust as you go. Programs change as you get stronger, travel, get busy or need a lighter week.
What happens during the visit
A typical session starts with a quick check-in: how you slept, how your body feels, anything that's sore or new. Then your trainer takes you through a warm-up, the main strength and conditioning work, and a cool-down. Your trainer coaches your technique throughout, so you're not guessing whether you're doing a movement correctly.
Because the session is built around you, it can look very different from one client to the next. One person may spend most of the time on strength basics, another on mobility, balance or building a routine they can keep up after a busy stretch at work.
Trainers do not bring workout equipment. Sessions use the equipment you already have at home.
Who mobile training may suit
Mobile training may fit people who:
- have a busy schedule and lose time to commuting
- feel self-conscious in a busy gym and prefer privacy
- are starting or restarting exercise and want a patient trainer
- have a young family, a work-from-home day or caregiving duties that make leaving the house hard
- want accountability from someone who shows up
It may not suit everyone. If you love the energy of a gym, or want access to a full rack of machines, a gym might be a better fit. We'd rather tell you that than sign you up for something that doesn't suit you.
Mobile training compared with a gym
Here's a fair comparison.
Where in-home training is stronger: no commute, privacy, a schedule that fits around your day, and a trainer focused on you only. Many people find it easier to be consistent when the session simply arrives.
Where a gym is stronger: a wide range of machines and heavy equipment, group classes, and a social atmosphere.
Where they overlap: good coaching, a sensible plan and showing up regularly matter more than the building you train in.
Most strength and fitness work can be done well with bodyweight, bands, a few dumbbells and good coaching. If your goals need heavier equipment, tell your trainer at the consultation so you can plan around it.
What to prepare—and what we bring
You don't need a home gym. A clear area roughly 8 by 8 feet is enough for many sessions, such as a living room, a spare room or a garage.
If you have a few items (a pair of dumbbells, a mat, resistance bands, a sturdy chair), we'll use them. If you don't, we'll plan around what you have. Your trainer does not supply equipment.
